Yummy Organic Vegetables & Delicious Pasture Raised Eggs from Happy Hens!

Sean Nua is a local regenerative farm that I visit in Co. Cavan and who I love to get my organic veg and pasture-raised eggs from. They are so passionate & dedicated to the most regenerative, natural and land-caring processes that includes a no-dig approach. As well as being able to visit them at the farm (where I get my weekly tray of the tastiest eggs I have ever had!), they do all of the weekly local farmers markets) including:

Dundalk Farmers Market, Louth (Fridays until 1:30pm)

Bailieborough Market at Nomad Coffee, Co. Cavan (Saturday until 12:30pm)

St. Anne's Park, Dublin (Saturday until 4pm)

Collinstown Market, Westmeath (Sunday until 1:30pm)

I started going to Dr. Donn this year trying to boost my energy and looking nurture my system for just better well-being (as an energy practitioner I have no problem saying that I can get out of balance too and need supports like anyone!). Donn Brennan is the person responsible for bringing Aryuveda itself to Ireland and is probably the most esteemed practitioner in the country. I also was intrigued that he has a background as a medical GP and has an understanding of both western and eastern health approaches. Although based in Dublin, he only does phone and online consultations, so I found this very handy, being based in northern Meath.

Ayruveda is a completely holistic approach that looks at how each individual can implement changes in their lifestyle, diet and pace of life and I have loved the awareness that it has brought to me so far about just how delicate our systems are and how contemporary life can push us into what are seen as "normalised" patterns that are actually harmful.

Even the basic shifting of eating my main meal to midday has helped my digestion and as I learned, help me move more with the natural circadian rythmn we have that links in with the rise and fall on the day. Simple but very powerful!!
